After reading several articles about the egg white mask that several people have tried I decided it was not a good idea!  For the last year I have been using a honey, brown sugar and avocado oil facial scrub that I’ve found to be very effective.  Blackhead removal was a surprise benefit to this facial scrub recipe!
Honey Avocado Oil Facial Scrub
 The honey and small amount of water on your skin start to dissolve the brown sugar slightly. The point of this mask isn't to severely exfoliate your skin. Honey is a natural antibacterial. It is great for the treatment and prevention of acne. The avocado oil helps to moisturize your skin and has amazing anti-aging benefits. (Take a look at my anti-aging avocado facial here).

Ingredients

• 1/4 cup organic brown sugar

• 3 tbsp organic raw local honey

• 1 tbsp organic avocado oil

Directions

Directions

1. Combine all ingredients in a small mason jar or other container with lid.
2. Wet face with warm water.
3. Apply a small amount of mixture to your face with your fingertips.
4. Gently massage skin with the mixture.
5. Rinse off of your face with warm water and pat dry.
