 Cellulite: The Unwanted Cottage cheese.
It’s a common fear that runs through the mind of a woman, especially in bikini season or after having a child and baby weight is still hanging around. It’s not a pretty sight but understand what it is and how you can treat it can help you cope with the idea. That common “orange peel” fear is Cellulite. It is described as the dimpled appearance on skin that is caused by fat deposits that are just below the surface of the skin. It generally appears on skin in the abdomen, lower limbs, and pelvic region, and it usually occurs after puberty.
Causes of Cellulite
To look into the structure of cellulite, it arises when the bands of fibrous tissue that connect the muscle to the skin become tight and the fat between the muscle and the skin bulges out between them, there will be dimpling over each of those bands. A further breakdown of cellulite is that it is often classified using three grades.

Grade 1

-Sees no clinical symptoms, but a microscopic examination of cells from the area detects underlying anatomical changes.

Grade 2

-Requires the skin to show pallor (pastiness), be lower temperature, and have decreased elasticity in addition to anatomical changes noted by microscopic examinations.

Grade 3

-Cellulite has visible roughness of the skin (like an orange peel) along with all grade 2 signs.  Because there is nothing otherwise special or unique about the fat in those areas, cellulite occurs in both men and women, but it is much more common in women because they are more likely to have particular types of fat and connective tissue.[read more]
